Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Social Media Manager to join our team. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement, and traffic to our company's social media platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Create and manage social media content calendar, including planning, scheduling, and publishing posts across various platforms
- Develop engaging and creative content that aligns with our brand voice and target audience
- Monitor social media channels for trends, news, and feedback, and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels
- Analyze social media data and insights to optimize content performance and make data-driven decisions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices
- Manage social media advertising campaigns to increase reach and engagement
- Collaborate with graphic designers to create visually appealing assets for social media posts
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) and their respective best practices
- Proficient in using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer)
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator or other graphic design software is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong relationship management skills to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with excellent proofreading skills
- Basic video editing skills are preferred
- Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and SEO principles
